ENGWE replacement twist throttle acceleration handle for the ENGWE EP-2 Pro electric bicycle. Designed as a replacement for a damaged, worn or faulty original throttle.

ENGWE Twist Throttle Acceleration Handle

The twist throttle is mounted on the handlebar and allows the rider to control motor power by rotating the throttle grip.

It can be used to replace an original throttle that has become damaged, worn, unresponsive or unreliable.

Possible Compatibility With Other ENGWE Models

Selected other ENGWE e-bike models may use a similar throttle. Compatibility depends on the connector type, wiring configuration and controller used on the bicycle.

Because different ENGWE models and production versions may use different electrical components, compatibility with models other than the EP-2 Pro should be confirmed by comparing the original throttle and connector.

Possible Symptoms of a Faulty Throttle

• no motor response when the throttle is operated;
• intermittent acceleration;
• uneven or inconsistent throttle response;
• motor response only when the throttle or cable is moved;
• damaged throttle housing or grip;

Please note that similar symptoms can also be caused by the controller, wiring, brake cut-off sensors or other electrical components.

Replacing the ENGWE Throttle

Before disconnecting or replacing electrical components, switch off the e-bike and disconnect or remove the battery where appropriate.

Make sure the replacement throttle connector matches the existing wiring before installation. Do not force connectors together if the shape, pin arrangement or orientation is different.
