ENGWE EP-2 Pro Pedal Assist PAS Sensor 60 cm
ENGWE-EP2-PAS
In stock $38.17
Replacement Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS) for the ENGWE EP-2 Pro electric bicycle. The PAS sensor detects pedal movement and sends a signal to the e-bike controller so the motor can provide assistance while pedalling.
This replacement sensor has an approximately 60 cm cable and is intended as a replacement for compatible ENGWE pedal assist systems.
Important: ENGWE has used different PAS sensors, connectors and wiring configurations across different models and production years. Please compare the sensor design, connector, number of pins and cable length with your original part before ordering.

ENGWE EP-2 Pro PAS Sensor Compatibility
This ENGWE EP-2 Pro pedal assist sensor is designed as a replacement for compatible EP-2 Pro electric bicycles.
The sensor may also fit selected ENGWE Engine X and other ENGWE models that use the same PAS sensor, connector and wiring configuration. However, compatibility with other models should always be confirmed by comparing the original part before ordering.
Do not select the sensor only by the ENGWE model name. Different production versions of the same e-bike model may use different connectors or electrical components.
What Does an ENGWE Pedal Assist Sensor Do?
The Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS) detects the rotation of the bicycle cranks while the rider is pedalling.
The sensor sends this information to the e-bike controller, which then activates motor assistance according to the selected pedal assist level.
A correctly functioning PAS sensor allows the motor assistance to start when the rider pedals and stop when pedal movement is no longer detected.
Possible Symptoms of a Faulty PAS Sensor
A damaged or faulty pedal assist sensor can cause problems with the e-bike pedal assistance system. Possible symptoms may include:
- Motor assistance does not start when pedalling.
- Pedal assistance works intermittently.
- Motor assistance starts with an unusual delay.
- Assistance cuts in and out while riding.
- The throttle works but pedal assistance does not operate correctly.
Please note: these symptoms can also be caused by other components such as the controller, wiring, connectors, display or motor electronics. Replacing the PAS sensor does not guarantee that it is the cause of an electrical fault.
60 cm PAS Sensor Cable
This replacement ENGWE pedal assist sensor has an approximately 60 cm cable.
When comparing it with your original sensor, please check not only the cable length but also:
- connector shape;
- number of connector pins;
- connector gender;
- sensor mounting design;
- cable routing;
- orientation of the sensor around the crank or bottom bracket.
Compatibility With Other ENGWE Models
This PAS sensor may also be compatible with some other ENGWE electric bicycles using the same sensor and connector configuration, including selected ENGWE Engine X versions.
Compatibility with other ENGWE models is not guaranteed solely by cable length or external appearance.
Before using this sensor with another ENGWE model, please compare:
- the complete sensor shape;
- the mounting position;
- the connector;
- the number of pins;
- the approximately 60 cm cable length;
- any identification markings on the original sensor.
How to Check Compatibility Before Ordering
Before ordering this ENGWE PAS sensor, please verify the following:
- Your bicycle is an ENGWE EP-2 Pro or uses the same PAS sensor configuration.
- The replacement sensor has the same physical design as your original sensor.
- The cable length of approximately 60 cm is suitable.
- The connector shape matches your existing wiring.
- The number of connector pins matches.
- The connector gender matches the original sensor.
- The sensor mounting position and orientation are the same.
We strongly recommend comparing the original sensor and connector before ordering rather than relying only on the bicycle model name.
ENGWE EP-2 Pro PAS Sensor Replacement
The pedal assist sensor is normally located around the crank / bottom bracket area and connects to the e-bike electrical system.
When replacing the sensor, follow the original PAS cable toward the controller or wiring harness and compare the replacement connector carefully with the existing connection.
Before disconnecting or installing electrical components, switch off the e-bike and disconnect or remove the battery where appropriate.
